My husband had a very large account with multiple levels of issues and they spent close to seven months sorting everything out to perfection before sending and it wasn’t a simple process but that’s due to so many accounts and issues no fault on debt helpers as they were extremely patient the whole time. Everything seemed to good to be true at first but they are the real deal and I would recommend them to anyone going through tough times they really have your best interests at heart!

One year ago we were way over our heads in Credit card debt, only able to make minimum payments, not even enough to pay down the exorbent amount of interest, especially when we were faced with double payments required, which was a common occurrence in our home. We were at the food bank twice a month, could barely afford to keep up with our multiple insurance payments. We even felt the need to cash in our life Insurance to pay back payments. We were staring bankruptcy in the face, and after 40 years of marriage the possibility of loosing our home.One year later looking back at the Bind we were in still has an effect on us.From the very first contact with DebtHelpers.ca was a welcome relief. Goma, I would just like to express my gratefulness to all whom have helped me at Debthelpers since I signed on to reduce my debt. Initially I was afraid this was a scam and my brothers tried to discourage me from following through once I had signed the agreement. I don't believe they realized how badly in debt I was. Through all their cons against this I figured I had nothing to lose as I was living the life of a pauper although I had a comfortable income. The entire income was going to payments. I would sometimes have around $80.00 to support myself all month. This was a ridiculous situation to find myself in - especially after working for 30 plus years at great jobs with great pensions. It was Goma who helped me through the doubtful days - misinterpretation of things I was told caused some stress but I sucked it-up and believed in her. Thank heaven I did. There were a few times that info was misplaced and I thought I was done for - however Goma was able to gather all the info and complete the filing. As I was not in Ontario I had to have some of the work done in Manitoba. My initial meeting with that counsel caused me some distress but was soon smoothed over. It is remarkable how personalities had a huge impact on a situation. All employees at Debthelpers were most professionals and I thank them for that. I am now on a repayment plan that reduced my debt by 75% and I am now able to put money away and live comfortably, without looking for help from my family.
