Contracting party

DebtHelpers.ca is operated by Intelligent Digital Marketing, registered in Ontario. These terms are an agreement between you and Intelligent Digital Marketing concerning your use of DebtHelpers.ca.

What DebtHelpers.ca does

DebtHelpers.ca provides general Canadian information and an option-finder that lets adults describe what they want help with. If a contact-request form is available, you may ask DebtHelpers.ca to save your details and contact you about that request. The site is free for consumers to use.

DebtHelpers.ca is not a lender, bank, credit bureau, collection agency, Licensed Insolvency Trustee, law firm or government service. We do not provide legal, accounting, insolvency, credit-repair or personalized financial advice, make credit decisions, administer insolvency proceedings or represent you before a creditor or government body.

No approval or guaranteed result

A result, category or contact request is a starting point only. It is not an approval, offer, quote, professional assessment or confirmed provider match. We do not guarantee savings, acceptance, a rate, a funded amount, creditor agreement, credit-score change or any other outcome.

Your responsibilities

You must be an adult in your province or territory to submit contact details. Provide information that is accurate and belongs to you. Do not submit another person’s details or send social insurance numbers, bank or payment-card numbers, passwords, government identification or financial documents through the form or ordinary email.

Do not wait for DebtHelpers.ca if you face a court date, limitation period, collection deadline, foreclosure, repossession, disconnection, eviction or other urgent deadline. A contact request does not stop interest, collections, legal action or any deadline and does not create representation.

Referrals and compensation

DebtHelpers.ca may be paid if you separately authorize a referral to a participating provider. Submitting a request to DebtHelpers.ca does not itself authorize disclosure to a provider. Before a disclosure, we must identify the intended provider, information, purpose and contact method and ask for separate affirmative permission. A provider’s own eligibility rules, fees, contracts and privacy practices then apply.

Privacy and communications

Our privacy policy describes collection, use, safeguards, retention and your privacy choices. A requested reply about your submission is separate from optional marketing. We do not require unrelated marketing consent to submit a request.

Site availability and acceptable use

You may use the site only for lawful personal purposes. Do not attempt to interfere with security, automate abusive submissions, scrape protected areas, impersonate another person or use the site to transmit harmful code. We may restrict abusive traffic and may change or discontinue site features.

Information and third-party services

We try to keep public information useful and current, but laws, programs, prices and provider terms can change. Verify important information with the relevant government body, creditor or qualified professional before acting. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not make us responsible for their content or services.

Responsibility for loss

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DebtHelpers.ca is not responsible for indirect, special or consequential loss arising from general site information or a third-party service. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under applicable consumer and privacy law.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws that apply in Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting mandatory rights available in your province or territory. We will date material changes. Changes do not retroactively authorize a new use or disclosure of personal information.
